How an annual physical kept a health issue from becoming more than skin deep
At her annual physical, patient Gabriela Zlotolow communicated with her clinician about a concern, and got a referral to Venice Family Clinic’s in-house dermatology specialist. Zlotolow’s own proactive health care, and the doctor’s decisive action, prevented an unfortunately all-too-common issue from becoming a much larger concern.

How volunteering at our free food markets became a lifeline for a patient
Four years ago, patient Arminda López got news that shook her life: a Stage IV cancer diagnosis. The cancer, along with the resurfacing of past trauma, mired her in darkness. But she has found renewed strength, determination and connection by becoming a Venice Family Clinic volunteer.
